Meredith Walker was named the Executive Director of the Texas Business Hall of Fame in 2018. Before joining Texas Business Hall of Fame, Meredith served as the Executive Director of the Harte Research Support Foundation and HRI Foundation. She is the former Senior Director of Development at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston and former Associate Director of Development at the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy at Rice University. Before pursuing her career in development, Meredith served as a District Legislative Aide to Senator Rodney Ellis and as a Senior Program Coordinator for the Center for the Global South. She holds an MA in International Economic Policy from American University in Washington, DC, and a BA from Texas A&M University, College Station.
