2021 New Awards
The contributions from our Legends and philanthropic partners are significant and play an integral role in our mission of supporting higher education and entrepreneurship in Texas. TBHF is pleased to announce several new Texas Business Hall of Fame scholar awards this year. Thank you all for your commitment to our program.
- The Lucy Billingsley Future Texas Business Legend Award, the first award funded by a female TBHF Legend.
- The James and Kathleen Collins & Vantage Bank Future Texas Business Legend Award
- The Brett Wiggs Innovative Leadership Award, the first award in our organization’s history reserved for a CEO of excellence in the Texas start up community.
- The AT&T Future Executive Leader of Distinction Award, in Honor of Randall Stephenson. While our awards traditionally focus on entrepreneurs, this award will target minorities who show record and promise in executive leadership in established organizations.
- The McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship at Texas A&M University, the first award partially funded by one of our high-education university partners.

Charitybuzz Auction
For the third year in a row, TBHF partnered with Charitybuzz, an online charity auction platform founded by Legend Todd Wagner.
This year, six Hall of Fame Legends participated in the auction by volunteering an afternoon of their time to meet with the highest bidder. This year’s participating Legends included David Bonderman, Mark Cuban, John Paul DeJoria, Michael Dell, Gary Kelly, and Randall Stephenson.
We are ecstatic to announce that this was a record-breaking year for us and we raised more than $267,000, which is four times what we raised the year prior.
