Larry Hanrahan is Founder, Principal, National Leader at Scout Strategy, now Stantec. Larry has been assisting healthcare clients for over 35 years, focusing his efforts on identifying and implementing the comprehensive activities to successfully transform healthcare and higher education organizations. These activities include strategic and facility master planning, clinical operating model development, accreditation, business and clinical transformation, clinical integration, strategic facilitation, physician services & engagement, supply chain and shared services, PMO development, as well as implementations related to enablement of new facilities. Additionally, Larry has led assessments and implementations related to health information exchanges (HIEs) the electronic medical record (EMR), administrative & financial systems (ERP), IT and cloud strategies including end-user devices, medical equipment and mobile/digital/tele/virtual-health, (including development of use-cases, business cases and roadmaps). Worldwide, he has worked with over 100 major organizations including universities and over 50 academic medical centers. 

He acted as Founder, Chairman and CEO of International Quality Healthcare Professional Connection®, L.P. (IQHPC®)–a firm specialized in turn-key placement of international nurses into U.S. hospitals. Prior to founding IQHPC, he co-founded Hanrahan Williams LLC, a health care consultancy.

He received his AB in Chemistry from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, his MD from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and his MBA from The University of Texas McCombs School of Business where he received the TBHF Scholar Award in 1991. In addition to the TBHF Board of Directors, Larry serves on the board of Ronald McDonald House Charities – Greater Houston (board president from 2021-2022).
