John is a Clinical Professor, Dean of Executive Education, and Associate Dean of the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. John teaches in the undergraduate, graduate and executive education programs. Previously John was the Director of the Undergraduate Accounting program, one of the largest Accounting programs in the country.

As the Dean of Executive Education, he oversees five degree programs, five MS Cohort Programs, and a Doctorate of Business Administration degree. The Executive Education area is a self-funded department with a budget of $21.5 million and 30 employees. Over the past several years, Executive Education has transformed into a self-funded profit center.

As the Associate Dean in The Naveen Jindal School of Management, John is actively involved in all accreditation issues, long-range planning, budgetary decisions, personnel selection, evaluations, graduation, and programmatic development. He represents the university to internal and external constituencies by maintaining active involvement in professional organizations, agencies and community groups.

Due to John’s leadership and communication, Executive Education has been transformed in terms of accountability and profitability over the past eight years.

John is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Public Accountant in Texas and New York State, along with being a Charted Global Management Accountant. John has over 20 years of corporate accounting experience working with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Gulf & Western and Azon Corporation.

Previously John was the Director of the MBA/MS Program and taught at the School of Management at Binghamton University. John graduated from St. John Fisher University in Rochester, New York, with a BS in Accounting in 1983, and an MBA from Manhattan College in New York City in 1988.
