Miguel Garza
Co-Founder, Siete Foods
AUSTIN
Miguel Garza is a co-founder and former CEO of Siete Foods, an Austin-based Mexican-American food brand that helped redefine the snack aisle and bring heritage-inspired flavor to broader audiences across the country. Siete began as a solution to personal health challenges his sister, Veronica, was experiencing, but it quickly grew into something much larger: an opportunity to invite more people to the table every day. In the spirit of their motto, “Juntos es Mejor,” Miguel helped build a brand rooted in culture and togetherness alongside his sister and his family (the Garza “Siete!”).
Miguel played a central role in scaling operations, building strategic partnerships, and expanding distribution nationwide while also maintaining a “people-first” company culture. Under his leadership, Siete experienced rapid growth, earned shelf space in major retailers, and cultivated a loyal customer base. The company’s success led to an acquisition by PepsiCo, marking a significant milestone not only for the Garza family, but for Latino-founded brands in the natural food space.
Grounded in a belief that inclusivity can extend beyond the table, Miguel supports initiatives with community impact. He is passionate about uplifting Latino entrepreneurship, fostering educational opportunities, and making wellness accessible to families across the country. Through philanthropy and outreach, he continues to advocate for brands built with people and togetherness at the forefront.
Miguel graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Marketing and The University of Texas School of Law with a J.D.

Veronica Garza
Co-Founder, Siete Foods
AUSTIN
Veronica Garza is a co-founder and former Chief Innovation Officer of Siete Foods, an Austin-based food brand she started with her family in 2014 to share foods inspired by their Mexican American heritage. The Siete story began in Veronica’s kitchen in her hometown of Laredo, Texas where she created the company’s first product: a grain-free almond flour tortilla.
Drawing from her Mexican American heritage, family traditions, and a desire to enjoy delicious foods while overcoming challenging health conditions, Veronica developed recipes that honored cultural flavors while prioritizing thoughtfully selected ingredients and accommodating a variety of dietary preferences. What began as a solution to personal health challenges quickly grew into something much larger, becoming a daily opportunity to invite more people to the table.
Alongside her family and team, she helped grow Siete into a nationally recognized brand, with more than 85 products on shelves in over 40,000 stores across the United States. The company’s success led to its acquisition by PepsiCo in January 2025, marking a significant milestone not only for the Garza family, but also for Latino-founded and heritage-driven brands in the food industry and beyond.
Following her time at Siete, Veronica continues to focus on bringing people together, uplifting the Latino community, and expanding Latina representation across industries—including business, media, and leadership. Through philanthropy and connection, she hopes to inspire entrepreneurs to build purpose-driven brands and lead with a people-first mentality—because Juntos es Mejor (together is better).
Veronica graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Mexican-American Studies and St. Edward’s University with an MBA.
