J. Scott Moore




Scott Moore is the Managing Partner for PwC’s Greater Texas market, which includes offices in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, New Orleans, Little Rock, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City. As Managing Partner, Scott leads a practice of over 4,000 professionals and is responsible for driving the PwC brand and strategy in the market, all client services, talent development and community impact. Prior to his current role, Scott was the Tax Market Leader for North Texas where he was responsible for driving the tax market operations, strategy and client service delivery. He also was the Retail and Consumer Tax Sector Leader for the US and spent two years in PwC’s Boston office in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice serving some of the firm’s leading private equity funds. In his more than 32 years of public accounting experience, he has provided extensive tax consulting services to his clients.

Scott’s recent civic and community affiliations include The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas – past Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and recipient of the Theodore P. Beasley Leadership Award, SMU Athletic Forum – Board of Directors, Dallas Regional Chamber – Member, Leadership Dallas, The Catholic Foundation Board of Trustees, The Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center – past Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The St. Thomas Aquinas School Advisory Council – past President and the Parish Finance Council, Dallas Theater Center – Board and member of Dallas Citizens Council and Board of Directors for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and Cristo Rey Dallas.

Scott is a graduate of Texas Tech University where he received his BBA in Accounting and his Masters in Accounting (Taxation). Scott is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Scott is a licensed CPA in Texas.
