A recognized innovator in digital media\, he previously founded ReplayTV\, the first commercially sold DVR\, and BrightSign\, a global leader in digital signage media players. He was also co-founder and CEO of iband\, Inc.\, acquired by Macromedia for its contributions to Adobe Dreamweaver\, and founder and CEO of SunRize Industries\, which developed tools for non-linear audio recording and editing.
