Join us for a virtual Q&A with Dr. William “Billy” Cohn, Executive Director, J&J Center for Device Innovation, Texas Medical Center. William E. Cohn is one of the leaders of the team of experts developing a total artificial heart that will deliver blood by means of continuous flow rather than pulsation. This new artificial heart is smaller, less expensive, and predicted to be more reliable than previous generations of artificial hearts. William E. Cohn currently has 170 active or pending patents for his inventions and is the founder or co-founder of five venture-backed life science startups. In addition, Dr. Cohn is a venture partner at Santé Health Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on capitalizing early-stage life science technology.

In this exclusive Q&A session, Dr. Cohn will address questions about innovation in the medical field and his “do-it-yourself” approach to problem solving.

Our alumni moderator for this event is TJ Falohun, the co-founder and COO of Ai-Ris and co-founder and CEO of Olera. In 2021, TJ was the inaugural recipient of the Brett Wiggs Innovative Leadership Award.

This event is offered exclusively to TBHF members. We intentionally limit capacity to 25 spots to protect the conversational format of these events, so please reserve your space today.
