LaRhesa Moon founded Articulate Strategic Communication in 2009. Articulate is a consulting firm specializing in devising solutions that enable significant revenue growth and solve strategic issues impeding corporate progress. Her expertise includes crisis communication, branding, marketing, new product development, M&A communications, board facilitation, community mediation, and strategic planning.

LaRhesa worked extensively with Harland Clarke Holdings Company, a $3.2 billion organization, from 2009 through early 2018, supporting many major branding, communication and acquisition initiatives. She also served as the Valassis Advisory Board facilitator, a $2.2 billion advertising media company. Currently she is working with multiple CEOs advising on growth initiatives and communication strategies in diverse industries including specialty beverage, oil and gas, retail, and financial services.

Prior to founding Articulate, LaRhesa was a senior executive of Harland Clarke Holdings, now Vericast, reporting directly to the CEO, responsible for internal and external communications, investor relations, learning & development, brand strategies, and marketing functions. She also oversaw multiple product line introductions and led several award winning cross-functional teams.

Before joining Harland Clarke, LaRhesa was VP of Operations of Prime Time Publishing, responsible for reengineering the traditional print operations to a digital environment and responsible for producing one daily and three weekly newspapers as well as other publishing projects. Prior to that, LaRhesa lived in Germany and worked for an independent Apple computer distributor honing her skills in sales and advertising in an international market.

Committed to giving back to the community, LaRhesa has held several philanthropic leadership positions. She was the United Way Chairman for Harland Clarke multiple times and a three-year board member of Any Baby Can. She has been involved with the San Antonio Children’s Shelter in various positions for twelve years, including three years as Chairman of the Board, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees and Foundation Board. She is also currently a member of the Texas A&M Women’s Former Student organization serving as a board member and president in 2013. In 2020, she was selected as a Director for the Texas Business Hall of Fame.
