Harriet Marmon Helmle is Senior Financial Advisor | New Client Relationships for CAPTRUST.  Prior to the merger with CAPTRUST, Harriet was the Director of Client Relationships with Covenant, a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm. Prior experience was as a Senior Vice President for Frost Wealth Management Services.  She was at Frost for 13 years.  Before Frost, she was the only female CEO of a financial services firm, Security Trust & Financial Company.

Harriet is a Certified Public Accountant  and a prior Certified Financial Plannerâ.   She was with Price Waterhouse and has over 12 years experience in public practice with the Big Four public accounting firms and over 39 years experience in industry practice.

Harriet is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri and John Marshall High School in San Antonio.  In addition, she attended UTSA for post-graduate courses.

Harriet is widely recognized in San Antonio as the founder of San Antonio Youth Literacy, better known as SAYL.  Founded in 1983, SAYL was the catalyst in San Antonio for many of the “in school” mentoring programs.  SAYL has received both state and national recognition as a model program for business/school partnerships.  The organization continues today as one of the only literacy programs in San Antonio for “in school” children.
